Have you tried looking at these in DOS and seen if they share the same name there?

Hmmm, baffled by this for a while but i've got a good theory, i reckon these 2 folders are held on seperate servers, maybe storage server and it uses distributed file system or something like it to put a copy of them on your H: drive. No definate answer though, this is really going to bug me until i can figure it out.
