finally lost my patience with my phone taking the best part of half an hour to turn on and deleted all my messages...

it took over 20 minutes!

I did that with my phone the other day and deleted all my sent messages, which for some reason also deleted all my dialled calls and recently used numbers, and turned all my alarms off.
