turns out i have not one but two broken ribs.

have been given painkillers, and am now wrapped in a chemical blanket...

I guess different people just fall differently, unfortunately there's no good rib armour solution at present whereas back, arse and wrist protection is much better. Get well soon!

yeah... am definitely going to have to practice falling over plenty before i consider snowboarding again.

still, they only take 3 or 4 weeks to heal :)
