Call your bank and tell them that ' You had no right to release those funds and under the Direct Debit indemnity act, I demand my funds be reimbursed within 24hrs'.
Apparently if your bank has released funds from your account, and they had no right to do so; then the shit falls on their head to sort out the aftermath.
And they should return the funds within 24 hours, they'll argue but just be stubborn.
