that was not fun.

wrote 11 pages, so probably scored around 70-80%... which ought to mean high sixties overall.

Your exams are graded entirely on how many pages you write? Sweet!

i'm a firm believer in the as much information as possible method for written exams...

my reckoning being it's rare for marks to be deducted for erroneous statements in an answer that also contains the information the examiner is looking for. especially at mickey mouse institutions like the university of hip hop.

that wasn't necessarily how it worked when i did my degree. and it was rare for us to get course notes/lecture handouts too. dammnit i clearly went to the wrong uni.

what? a respectable one that cares more about its academic repute than simply walking students through as much of their courses as possible so as to maximise revenue for the institution; the kind of university you can be proud of having a degree from... yeah, bad call that. </sarcasm>

I didn't think exams were meant to be fun unless you're a lonely woman and it's time for your smear test? I hear they have a great time. I'd agree with the write as much as you can technique, hopefully it's worked well for you.
