I'm in the middle of writing an essay on the Israel Palestine conflict. Would you mind if I cited this observation? I think it could be the crucial factor which could tie the otherwise fractured rubbish I have written together.

all of these things have nothing to do with maths and everything to do with people making assumptions that they shouldnt, or maybe overgeneralising what they have previously seen, and stuff

or possibly school teachers forgetting to explain (in the first place) that you cant divide by zero, which seems most likely
