labelling

back in the summer, a very strange vehicle parked in the car park out the back of the estate. i'd seen it once or twice before, but had assumed that it was just an hallucination or mirage if you will...
well, it was an unusually hot summer. in fact, if certain arnold schwarzenegger films are to be believed, there'd have been one of those dread locked aliens running around hunting people.
but, i digress, when i retrieved the photos off my phone (a few weeks ago) it turned out that i had forgotten about one or two of them...
i never did find out what type of music it played

it's a slight variation on the traditional icecream van theme. peddling mildly carbonised bread instead of supercooled milk products.
although why anyone in their right minds would have even considered buying toast in the interminable heat that was last summer i'll never know.
but, it got me to thinking...

and in particular, it got me to thinking about labeling.
why doesn't everything have such clear and obvious packaging?
why don't things tell you exactly what they contain?
well, a friend of mine in the states answered those questions quite succinctly for me.

if only everything in life could be as simple as the people in this bus

that is why.

Stupid signs

I think it's meant to be along the lines of 'Hey buddy, yeah you that was about to crash your car into this bus ,don't do it there's spastics on board'. Kind of like those baby on board signs that f*cktards insist on getting.

ah... i had suspected that it was something to do with the emergency services wanting adequate warning before dealing with a bus full of tards should they be involved in an accident...

it doesn't look very good for them to be laughing at people they're trying to treat for injuries.

but... you may well have a point there.

OverClockers UK

There's that link for Overclockers. Particularly recommend those with an 8Mb cache. Avoid IBM if you can.
