great. can't book snowboarding lessons :(

how come? are they all full? where are you going?

everywhere has an ecole du ski francais!

going to tignes. tried booking online, they said

i'd contact them, but my french isn't even up to quoting eddie izzard routines.

oh that is probably fine. Maybe ask if kasia or lyssa would give them a call, or much of the time you are fine just to turn up and see what spaces they have. I would reccomend going asap after you arrive if you do this as the classes can start sunday or monday to catch the saturday arrivals.

They have an Evolution 2 school in Tignes I see. They were who I had my first week of ski lessons with and were great. Although obviously that might just be a lucky-dip good teacher!

yeah, and it'd be going against the last minute-ness of the holiday to actually have something prepared anyway ;)

There'll be an ESF office when we get there, it'll be worth seeing if there are any last-minute spaces in person. Or you could go to MK tomorrow :-)

already tried booking some at mk... there's nothing available til mid march.

Well I'll be swinging by the ESF on Sunday morning anyway (I'm booked into the intermediate class) so we'll see if we can sort something out. Or Barn could teach you, what could possibly go wrong?

i taught myself, it might set u back by a day but its not that hard. Especially if you're with someone who's done it before

yeah... used to skateboard a lot when i was younger - it can't be too dissimilar.

you should be fine then! although be prepared to spend a lot of your first day on your arse :)
